Position Overview:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and a background in mechanical engineering?

Our Client is seeking a skilled HVAC Estimator to evaluate project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and contribute to our expanding operations.

In this role, you'll work closely with our project managers, engineers to ensure that every project is cost-effective and executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed HVAC cost estimates.
• Analyze project scope and identify potential challenges or cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare and present cost estimates to clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to refine estimates and adjust as necessary.
• Track and report on estimate performance and variance throughout project lifecycles.
• Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator or in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
