The Company  
  
The founders / owners of this privately owned civil business are passionate, astute leaders who have handpicked the exe management team over the last 5 years and are driving the business forward with a clear 2025 business plan. For over 25 years they have forged a successful business working with blue chip clients in the industrial, residential, developer and government sectors. Currently turning over approx. $75M and employing a dedicated team of approx. 50 ppl

The Position

Their projects are worth between $10m - $40M and the scope of work is subdivision which include excavation, utilities / drainage and road works. The buildings will house industrial developments.  The client is a prestigious developer that only puts their name to quality developments  
  
Reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer and working alongside other engineers you will assist and support the project from a design and coordination perspective. 

You will receive a salary of between $90K - 110K depending on level of experience and be given the opportunity to fast track your career by overseeing you own scope of work across the project

Ideal background / deliverables
  • Have completed a tertiary qualification in construction/project management and have demonstrated experience working for a civil contractor 
  • Help manage programme to meet project milestones (this includes safety and quality)
  • Ability to liaise with all stakeholders, particularly the consultants and sub-contractors 
  • Understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation and Quality Assurance requirements.
  • A commitment to developing and maintaining a culture of high performance that consistently delivers results and behaviour that exceed expectations
  • Possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills
