Night Foreman – Heavy Demolition (Retail) | Newcastle

We are currently seeking an experienced Night Foreman to oversee a heavy demolition project within a retail store environment in Newcastle.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone confident managing crews, maintaining safety standards, and keeping works on schedule in a fast-paced night shift setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate demolition crews on-site
• Oversee heavy strip-out and demolition of retail interiors
• Ensure strict adherence to WHS and site safety requirements
• Manage workflow, materials, and equipment efficiently
• Liaise with project managers and report on progress
• Maintain site organisation and cleanliness

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in demolition or construction
• Strong background in heavy demo / strip-outs (retail experience preferred)
• Valid tickets/licences (e.g. White Card – essential)
• Ability to lead teams and enforce safety compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts consistently

Working Hours:

• Night shift: approximately 5:00–6:00 PM start through to 3:00 AM
• Flexibility may be required depending on project needs
