Full-Time Bookkeeper - Agricultural Business | Nedlands, WA
Are you a detail-driven Bookkeeper looking for a stable, long-term opportunity within a thriving and values-driven agricultural business? We're seeking a motivated and reliable professional to join a well-established operation based in Nedlands. This is a permanent, full-time position offering security, variety, and the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the financial health of a growing business.
The Opportunity
Working closely with senior management, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial administration and bookkeeping function across the business. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, organisation, and ability to work autonomously will be highly valued.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a close-knit team environment while also having the confidence to manage their own workload and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Processing payroll, including superannuation and statutory obligations
  • BAS preparation and lodgement support
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
  • Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and key stakeholders
  • Managing invoicing, collections, and supplier payments
  • Supporting budgeting and cash flow forecasting activities
  • General administrative duties to support the wider business
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience in a similar Bookkeeping or Accounts role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar systems
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and improve processes
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting
  • Experience within agriculture, farming, or a related industry
  • Exposure to multi-entity or group structures
  • Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and tax requirements
