Job description
We are looking for a Senior Risk Officer, to join a well love Goverment Deartment
Our client is the primary environmental regulator for New South Wales. They partner with businesses, the federal government, and the community on matters related to energy and climate change.
Key Accountabilities:
• Establishing, influencing and managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating a network of key risk practitioners or champions
• Improve risk management information quality and consistency, provide insights, and challenge risk assessments and assumptions as necessary.
• Risk awareness and support programs to the organisation's staff to build capability
• Plan and facilitate risk assessment workshops and risk reviews
• Regular analysis, review and updating of risk registers
• Periodic review of risk maturity across the organisation for continuous improvement
• Prepare quality, informative written reports and briefs, and contribute to Ethe organisations risk reporting
Experience & Skills Required (MUST)
- IMMEDIATE START - 6 month contract
- Pay Rate: $75p/h + Super
- Located in Parramatta, currently WFH

- Full working rights in Australia is required
- Ability to work 35 hours a week (Weekdays only)
- Demonstrated experience in risk management and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Advanced process mapping skills
- Advanced communication skills
