Site Engineer - Civil (FIFO from Brisbane)
Location: FIFO from Brisbane Airport to Central Queensland
Roster: FIFO (project-based roster)

The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established National Tier 2 Civil Contractor experiencing strong, organic growth across the Queensland market. Following the recent award of a major civil construction project in Central Queensland, they are now seeking a driven Site Engineer to join the project delivery team on a FIFO basis from Brisbane Airport.
This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a complex marine-based civil construction project from early works through to final handover, working closely with one of the company's most highly regarded Senior Engineers. The role is ideally suited to an ambitious Site Engineer who is committed to building a long-term career in Queensland.

The Project

- Assist with day-to-day site engineering activities across a complex civil scope
- Support the Senior Engineer with planning, sequencing and coordination of works
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, safety and program compliance
- Interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Undertake QA documentation, ITPs, inspections and reporting
- Monitor progress against program and assist with cost control
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements at all times
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years post-graduate experience working as a Site Engineer on civil construction projects
- Exposure to marine, coastal, infrastructure or complex civil works highly regarded
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Motivated, proactive and eager to take ownership on site
- Willing and able to work on a FIFO basis from Brisbane
- Genuine desire to build a long-term career in Queensland with a growing contractor
