This top tier multidisciplinary Civil Contractor have a large pipeline of work heading into 2024 and have identified a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join an established site team to deliver a complex infrastructure project 30 mins drive North of Rockhampton. 

They are a self-performing contractor and have a team set up which is tried and tested in the delivery of complex Bridge Re-Construction projects. The role will involve on-site management of day-to-day construction activities including acting as contractors' rep on site, design review of construction methodologies including pilling, leading meetings with client and design teams and identifying defects and developing engineering solutions.

The project is based a in Central QLD so the roster is being ran on a flexible FIFO roster out of Brisbane Airport  (preferable 2/1 or 10/4) with, accommodation, meal allowance and travel being provided by the client. Site works kick off in Feb 2024 so they are looking to identify the right incumbent to start after the Xmas break. This is a critical role for the safe and timely delivery of the project so we are looking for a seasoned Senior PE who has prior experience delivering either TMR or QR projects.   

Selection Criteria:

- Degree qualified Civil Engineer 

- 5 years industry experience

- Must possess experience in bored piles 

- Prior experience from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting background is preferred

- Good communicator and work well in a team 

- Experience with TMR or QR projects will be a distinct advantage
