FMCG / Food & Beverage Sector
Permanent | $180,000 – $220,000 + 12% Superannuation
Melbourne-Based | Full Project Life Cycle Responsibility
A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Engineer/Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing organisation within the FMCG/Food & Beverage sector.
This permanent position offers end-to-end project responsibility, from concept through to commissioning. You’ll play a key role in delivering capital projects across a portfolio of manufacturing and processing sites—working closely with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and engineering teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage full project life cycles, from feasibility and design through to procurement, delivery, and handover
- Oversee contractor management, procurement, cost control, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all project phases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with operational requirements
- Develop and maintain project documentation, reporting, and post-project evaluations
- A strong track record in delivering capital projects within FMCG, food & beverage, or related manufacturing environments
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar)
- Proficiency in CAD and project management software
- Excellent stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
