We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join an established main contractor who operate on a national scale across a variety of sectors including civil infrastructure, mining & resources and oil & gas.
The business is well established with over 40 years trading history with long standing relationships across state and federal governments, and the private and public sectors.
This opportunity is Perth based in our clients Head Offices located North of the River. The successful candidate will be working at a corporate level supporting several project teams located throughout Australia affording the opportunity to work across a variety of construction projects.
  • Progress updates, planning and scheduling using Primavera P6
  • Prepare and support in preparation of client and internal reporting
  • Be able to ascertain program risks and develop with project team recovery measures
  • Be able to develop EOT programs and narratives
  • Support the project team in developing and measuring short term programs and progress
  • Measure and manage KPIs
  • Understand and support in project costs as required
  • Be able to support in forecasting both cost and time
Candidate Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years relevant experience working in Civil Construction (roads, concrete works, remediation, buildings etc)
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Proven Planning and scheduling experience with proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Cost control experience
