The Role

The Role
As Senior Estimator, you'll take ownership of the estimating and tendering function, working closely with Directors, Project Managers, and clients to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and manage submissions through to contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions across multiple sectors
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes for pricing accuracy
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Oversee the tender process and ensure all submissions meet compliance requirements
- Contribute to cost planning and value engineering during pre-construction
- Mentor junior estimators and provide technical guidance to the team
- Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants throughout tender stages
- 6+ years' experience as an Estimator in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of building methodology, procurement, and trade pricing
- Proven ability to deliver accurate estimates on projects $5M-$40M
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and client liaison skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
- Senior position with influence across pre-construction and tendering strategy
