Estimator - Civil Construction | Adelaide
 
We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil contractor delivering a range of road and infrastructure projects across Adelaide and regional South Australia.
 
The successful candidate will play a key role in pricing and preparing tenders for earthworks, drainage, culverts, intersection upgrades, road construction and rehabilitation projects. You'll be working closely with a Senior Estimator and an experienced delivery team on a diverse pipeline of works.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and tender submissions
• Undertake quantity take-offs and review design documentation
• Conduct site visits to scope works and assess construction methodology
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and analyse pricing
• Contribute to value engineering and project planning discussions
• Maintain and update estimating databases and systems

About You:

• Minimum 5 years' experience estimating civil construction projects for a main contractor
• Engineering degree (Civil or related discipline) - desirable
• Proven experience in estimating for roadworks and infrastructure projects
• Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
• Familiarity with estimating software packages
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Must have full Australian working rights
