Senior Civil Designer – Infrastructure Projects
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join a collaborative engineering team delivering a diverse range of infrastructure projects — including roads, rail, bridges, and urban developments.
About the Role:
You’ll take ownership of design deliverables from concept through to detailed documentation, working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role also includes providing leadership and mentoring to junior designers and technicians while driving continuous improvement in design processes and CAD standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Based in their Perth entity, this role offers a collaborative office setting with limited flexibility for remote work. Some travel to client sites may be required depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review civil design drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, 12D, or Civil 3D, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor junior design team members, providing technical guidance and feedback.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality design outcomes on time and within budget.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements and CAD standard enhancements.
- Maintain clear project documentation and uphold quality assurance standards.
- Build and sustain strong professional relationships with clients and contractors.
- 8–10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design.
- Strong working knowledge of MRWA, PTA, Water Corp, and Local Government design standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, or Civil 3D (12D drainage experience highly regarded).
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Diploma or above).
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate others.
- Experience in BIM modelling and Digital Engineering is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on quality outcomes.
