Experienced Civil Technician / Drafter – Infrastructure Projects
CGC are working with a key client seeking an experienced Civil Technician / Drafter to contribute to the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, rail and urban developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Based in the Perth office with occasional flexibility for remote work. Some travel to client sites may be required for project delivery.

CGC are working with a key client seeking an experienced Civil Technician / Drafter to contribute to the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, rail and urban developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to produce high-quality civil documentation and drawings.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed designs using AutoCAD (experience with 12D or Civil 3D highly regarded).
- Review and maintain documentation in line with industry standards and project specifications.
- Identify cost-effective and innovative design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with CAD and quality standards, driving continuous improvement in workflows.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Provide guidance or mentoring to junior team members where required.
- 5-10+ years’ experience in civil drafting or design roles.
- Solid knowledge of MRWA, PTA, Water Corp and local government standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; exposure to MicroStation, 12D or Civil 3D advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar).
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
