Mechanical / HVAC Project Engineer – Tier One Contractor | Sydney

I’m currently partnering with one of Australia’s leading mechanical and building services contractors, well established across commercial, healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects.

They’re now looking to appoint a Mechanical / HVAC Project Engineer to join their Sydney team.

This is a great chance to work with a Tier One contractor on a diverse portfolio of Design & Construct (D&C) projects valued between $2M and $20M — with a clear path for progression and ongoing professional development.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll:

• Deliver mechanical and HVAC systems across multiple D&C projects
• Collaborate with design, project management, and site teams
• Oversee design reviews, procurement, and commissioning activities
• Ensure all mechanical services meet project, safety, and compliance standards

Skills & Experience

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Proven experience with an Australian mechanical services or HVAC contractor (ideally Tier 1) 
• Strong exposure to D&C project delivery
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• NER registration or working towards it
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
