We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Advisor to work as a Client Side Safety Representative, overseeing safety practices in data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary safety advisor and client representative 
  • Collaborate closely with principal contractors and sub-contractors, monitoring their safety practices and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and guidelines, tailored to the unique requirements of data centers.
  • Foster a culture of safety by promoting awareness, training, and engagement among all project stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in safety meetings, presenting safety reports and recommendations to the client and project teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, industry trends, and emerging safety technologies to continually improve safety practices.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Safety or a Diploma in Safety qualification, demonstrating your understanding of safety principles and regulations.
  • Previous experience working as a Safety Advisor or a similar role, preferably in the construction sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and build strong working relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence others to achieve safety objectives.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to ensuring accuracy and compliance in safety-related documentation and reporting.
