CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client Nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom in QLD and deliver major projects across a number of sectors including Roads, Rail, Defence and Resources. 

They are currently involved in the delivery of one of Brisbane's most iconic infrastructure projects of the last 20 years and have immediate contract requirement for a Rail Project Engineer to assist in the deliver of a major Brownfield Construction projects.

This position will report into the Area Manager and will involve delivering critical construction works in a live Rail environment, with scope of work including; FRP Works, Bulk excavation open trench, Steel Structures and installation of building services for new station.

As of the nature of the work the key criteria for this role involves complex project planning for short- and medium-term activities, including shutdowns, with experience in managing resources across concurrent work locations with multiple site interfaces. In addition to this, generic Project Engineering duties such as site investigations, developing ITPs, Creating Scope of Works, Forecasting and Contracts Administration must also be adhered to. 

The position will offer a long term opportunity with a leading Rail Contractor who provide excellent training and development for their staff and will offer a competitive salary which includes, base salary, super, car allowance and possession allowance as weekend work is expected.
