Duration: 6 Months (Part-Time, 3 days a week)
About Us: TfNSW is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Project Manager or Senior Engineer to join our team based in Newcastle, NSW. As a key player in the region, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and functionality of our infrastructure, particularly focusing on bridge maintenance projects.
Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project briefs for upcoming bridge maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and specifications.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of maintenance projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders.

Key Projects:

• Bridge bearing replacements
• Mechanical and electrical upgrades
• Guard rail installations and upgrades

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management or senior engineering roles.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with bridge maintenance projects is highly desirable.

Location and Schedule:

• Office-based in Newcastle, NSW.
• Part-time position, 3 days a week.
• 6-month contract.

Remuneration:

• Competitive daily rates will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
