About the Role
As the Senior HSE Advisor, you’ll take ownership of all safety and environmental initiatives on a major high-rise construction site, supporting the Project and Site Managers to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maintain a positive safety culture across the workforce.
You’ll be the go-to person for safety leadership on site — visible, engaged, and trusted to provide practical, hands-on advice that drives safe work outcomes without slowing productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HSE functions on a live high-rise mixed-use construction site.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple work fronts.
- Facilitate incident investigations, toolbox talks, and subcontractor pre-starts.
- Provide expert advice on WHS legislation, safe work practices, and site controls.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across health, safety, and environmental systems.
- Maintain site documentation and ensure compliance with company and client requirements.
- Build strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to foster a safety-first culture.
- 5+ years’ experience in a safety advisory role within Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction.
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of WA WHS legislation and construction methodologies.
- Proven experience on large-scale, multi-storey or mixed-use projects beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence and educate at all levels.
- Proactive mindset with a genuine passion for driving a positive safety culture.
