CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have been engaged by an existing client to recruit a Civil Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of a major Transport Infrastructure project in regional QLD. 
 
Our client has a permanent Engineer joining the business in the new year so they have a critical need for a Project Engineer to the team on an interim basis to provide on site engineer support. The project has a complex scope works which includes Bulk earthworks, (which includes clear and grubbing and access route), ground improvement works, civil structures (box culverts and bridges) Rail (including rail services, OHLE, signaling) and Building works. 
 
This position will report into a Senior Engineer and involve managing a recently awarded $70ml package of works and responsibility will include; prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects. In addition to this you will perform quality control (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. 
 
The project is running a 10/4 DIDO roster from Brisbane, with on-site accommodation and meals being provided by the client. Interviews are taking place next week and are looking for a mid-September start so is a role best suited for a Project Engineer in between projects or keen to beginning working as one of CGC Recruitments valued contract staff.
