The Position
  
As a Project Engineer within the fitout and refurbishment division, you will efficiently manage and coordinate projects, ensuring they exceed expectations in terms of time, cost, customer satisfaction, quality, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards
  
You must also be able to demonstrate your experience in

• Leading and managing construction teams, including mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Strong stakeholder management and client engagement focus.
• In-depth understanding of building methodologies and current industry best practices.
• Proficiency in project scheduling using MS Project.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current QHSE Acts and legislation.
• Expertise in quality management and continuous improvement processes.
• Handling monthly commercial reporting, progress claims, and variations.
• Effective implementation and understanding of AS Form of Contracts.
• Skilled in negotiation and dispute resolution.

Salary will be in line with experience and market trends however figures of $160K – $180K can be expected 

Ideal Background

• Hold a tertiary qualification in construction, project management, or civil engineering.
• Have proven experience as a Project Engineer within tier two builders.
• Open to discussions with candidates seeking to transition from a Tier 3 builder, provided they are at the Project Management level.
• Possess strong knowledge of the design process and value engineering techniques.
• Have a deep understanding of corporate values, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent commercial acumen, with strong skills in relationship building, influencing, and negotiation.
