Job description

CGC Recruitment are established experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main tier and mid-tier contractors and have again been approached by one of our clients to source a Project Administrator to work on a recently awarded FIFO project. 
As Project Administrator your duties will include;
  • Collate information and follow the procurement process to arrange vendor set up in the finance system
  • Raising purchase orders, receipting dockets, processing invoices to the central accounts payable function
  • Coordinate project procurement activities with the project team in line with accounting and administrative systems and procedures
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flight and accommodation booking and forecasting
  • Coordinate and distribute weekly itineraries for both incoming and outgoing travel
  • Manage the procurement of suitable accommodations for FIFO employees
  • Arrange catering services for FIFO employees
  • Assist Supervisors with entering and approving timesheets
  • Maintain accurate project records and timelines
  • Communicate with remote project team (project team will be based in Darwin/ Groote Eylandt)

We are looking to speak with Project Administrator who possess experience within civil construction with a demonstrated capability of civil construction administration, specifically logistical planning, multiple task planning, co-ordination of people and utilisation of plant and equipment. In addition to this, applicants should be capable of working independently to solve problems and have clear and confident communications skills both written and verbal.  

The project is located over in the NT and they client is running an 8/6 FIFO roster from Brisbane Airport with travel, accommodation and meals all being provided. 

The is an initial 6-month contract but based on performance has a strong chance of moving into a permanent role.
