FIFO | Landmark Renewable Energy Project | 2/1 Roster
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead and oversee the electrical scope of a truly game-changing renewable energy project. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role on a landmark development that will help shape the future of Australia's energy landscape.
Based on a 2/1 FIFO roster flying from any major East Coast Airport, you'll take ownership of all day-to-day electrical project engineering deliverables while leading a team of three junior Electrical Engineers through construction and commissioning.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the electrical works from detailed engineering through to commissioning and handover.

- End-to-end ownership of the electrical project scope
- Delivery of all day-to-day project engineering activities
- Leadership, mentoring, and development of a team of Junior Electrical Engineers
- Acting as a key interface between Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil disciplines
- Leadership of electrical construction and commissioning activities
- Coordination with contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure schedule, quality, and safety targets are met
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
You're a confident senior engineer who thrives in complex, fast-paced project environments and enjoys being at the sharp end of delivery.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a Senior Electrical Project Engineer role (ideally within renewables, energy, or major infrastructure projects)
- Strong leadership experience managing and mentoring junior engineers
- Solid construction and commissioning experience
- The ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence outcomes on site
- FIFO project experience (highly regarded)
- Above-market salary package
