Auto Electrician (Perth Metro)
A long‑standing WA maintenance provider is expanding its mobile plant and autonomous equipment division and is now seeking experienced Auto Electricians to support workshop and field-based maintenance across mining, construction, transport, and industrial fleets. This role suits someone who enjoys diagnostic challenges, varied work, and exposure to OEM‑aligned electrical systems.
About the Role
You'll join a technical maintenance team responsible for electrical servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on light vehicles, autonomous equipment, and small mobile plant used across mining and industrial operations. Work includes scheduled electrical maintenance, breakdown response, component change-outs, and supporting asset health programs. The environment is fast-paced, safety-driven, and aligned with high-quality maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on LV, autonomous equipment, and small mobile plant
- Perform key programming, CANbus diagnostics, and electrical troubleshooting
- Complete electrical component change-outs, harness repairs, and rebuild tasks
- Support asset health inspections and electrical condition reporting
- Maintain accurate service documentation and follow all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with trades, supervisors, and asset management teams
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent)
- Experience with mobile plant, mining support equipment, or industrial fleets
- Strong diagnostic capability and familiarity with OEM electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and follow structured maintenance processes
- Commitment to safety, quality, and consistent workmanship
