Project Manager
Location: Perth Metro Area, WA
Salary: $120,000 – $135,000 per year

Our client is a leading Western Australian local government authority specialising in waste management and environmental services. They provide comprehensive waste disposal and resource management solutions to local communities across the Perth Metro Area.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the operations team in delivering capital and strategic projects in line with the organisation’s Critical Infrastructure Plan. This role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring compliance, and driving outcomes that meet organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Apply sound knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements
  • Interpret and analyse contracts and project documentation
  • Prioritise and manage multiple workloads under tight timelines
  • Demonstrate commitment to achieving high-quality project outcomes
  • Utilise Microsoft Office Suite to manage project documentation and reporting
Experience and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary or industry-recognised qualification in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven project management experience, ideally within waste management, local government, or infrastructure/construction projects
Additional Requirements
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Willingness to provide a National Police Clearance
  • Participation in random drug and alcohol testing as per organisational policy
