Human Resources Advisor - FIFO
 
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join a major resources project team on a FIFO basis.
 
About the Client:

Our client is a leading Australian resources and infrastructure services company, delivering large-scale projects across remote and regional sites. They are known for their strong safety culture, operational excellence, and supportive work environment.
 
Role Details:
  • Type: Permanent Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm options available)
  • Location: Remote site (FIFO)
  • Roster: 1:1 (6 months on-site per year, Monday to Monday swing)
  • Reporting To: Project Director (Operations) with support from Head Office HR team
  • Remuneration: ~$130k p/a + 15% site uplift + super. Flexible for the right candidate
About You:
 
We're seeking a HR professional with at least three years of HR experience in the resources industry. You don't need to be senior, but must be confident, enjoy working closely with Operations, and have experience you can build on.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with site leadership to deliver end-to-end ER and IR guidance for a workforce of ~200 personnel across multiple projects
  • Support EBA negotiations, including guidance through EBA stages, union interactions, right of entry, and EBA interpretation
  • Manage HR aspects of incidents on site, including investigations and reporting to the client
  • Liaise daily with employee engagement and wellbeing teams
  • Case management: harassment, bullying, psychological matters, and other workplace issues
  • Provide standalone HR support on site and assist other regional teams as projects arise
Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in HR/ER (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
  • Strong understanding of contemporary HR practices and Fair Work/IR frameworks
  • Confident in supporting leaders and resolving workplace issues
  • Full Australian working rights required
