Our clients' role is to actively grow and manage the supply of the right types of housing, at the right time, in the right areas, for people in need in our communities.
They manage the largest portfolio in Australia, with over 125,000 properties, valued at $51 billion. Each day, they manage 1,750 requests for maintenance at a cost of $1m per day.
They are currently looking to engage a Planning Officer on a 12 month contract basis, based in Parramatta and WFH

Role Description:
- Provide accurate and timely technical planning services relative to feasibility, suitability, development options and anticipated yields for specific sites or projects to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and gain approval for development projects.
- Utilise working relationships to collaborate and share planning outcomes internally and through contracted suppliers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of projects to meet client briefs, timelines and expectations in line with local and state government planning policies.
- Identify and act on any risks, issues or enhancements related to planning priorities, projects or assessment outcomes of third-party development applications.
- Contribute to and/or complete planning and study reviews, provide planning solutions, review third party submissions and work with consultants, contractors and providers in relation to planning activities.
- Provide planning process awareness to new suppliers as required to ensure client satisfaction, timeliness and efficiency in project delivery and implementation.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the planning field
- Working knowledge of the Part 5 assessment system
