Job description
We are looking for an experienced Ministerial Services Officer to join our client, an NSW State government agency, on a contractual basis.
Our client is the leading transport and roads agency for New South Wales. The organisation is responsible for improving the customer experience, planning, program administration, policy, regulation, procuring transport services, infrastructure and freight.
Primary purpose of the role:
The role will support the delivery of the full suite of Government and Executive communications, including briefing notes, correspondence and parliamentary and cabinet support services, and assists in managing agency information and knowledge to support senior decision-makers to make informed assessments on time
Key accountabilities:
- 3 month contract opportunity with NSW State Government

- Based in Sydney
- $380 - $410 per day + super
- Monday - Friday - 40 hours per week

Key accountabilities:
- Handle incoming correspondence from customers in relation to ministerial matters and general enquiries
- Utilise SalesForce and internal systems to manage the progress of customer correspondence
- Adopt a proactive approach to monitoring and managing web enquiries, ensuring that these are progressed to the most relevant team to handle
- Follow up with stakeholders to monitor customer enquiry progress in order to keep systems and databases updated
- Filter through customer requests and prioritise those that need to be assigned urgently
- Take ownership of record-keeping duties
- Work in a structured environment that allows you to understand how customer enquiries are processed and handled
- Eligibility to work full-time in Australia
- The ability to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- MUST NOT HAVE ANY HOLIDAYS PLANNED OR BOOKED WITHIN THE NEXT 3 MONTHS
