Mechanical Fitter Supervisor - CIRCA $81hr - 86hr
We're seeking experienced Mechanical Fitter Supervisors to join a high-performing team delivering critical mechanical scopes across WA's energy and infrastructure sectors.
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity offering a competitive rates of around $81-86hr, with a balanced 50/50 split between site-based and off-site responsibilities.

This established mechanical services contractor delivers specialised solutions across the Oil & Gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors throughout Western Australia. Known for its technical capability and hands-on leadership, the business supports both workshop-based fabrication and complex site installations. With a strong focus on hydraulic systems, rope access, and high-spec mechanical scopes, the company maintains a reputation for safety, reliability, and long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate mechanical fitting teams across workshop and field environments
- Support and involvement in rope access activities (IRATA Level 1 desirable, training available)
- Oversee hydraulic system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to manage scope and delivery
- Mentor trades personnel and contribute to workforce development
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters (ideally time served)
- Proven supervisory experience in mechanical or hydraulic scopes
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and componentry
- IRATA Level 1 (desirable) - training can be provided
- Oil & Gas or heavy industrial background highly regarded
- Strong safety leadership and team coordination skills
