The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex refurbishment projects, including major upgrades to existing event spaces featuring structural works, rooftop terraces, and high-end finishes.
 
You will take ownership of project planning and programming, manage a Project Manager, and oversee end-to-end delivery from preconstruction through to handover. This role offers genuine autonomy, client exposure, and the opportunity to shape delivery strategy across multiple concurrent projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple heavy refurbishment and structural upgrade projects (up to $10M)
  • Lead scheduling, programming, and delivery for all projects in progress
  • Manage and mentor a Project Manager and support team
  • Drive project performance across safety, quality, cost, and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Report directly to the Directors and contribute to business growth and delivery strategy
  • Ensure project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met
About You
  • 8+ years' experience in construction project management, ideally with Tier 2/3 builder
  • Strong background in complex refurbishments, structural works, or live environment projects
  • Proven ability to manage teams and multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent scheduling, programming, and leadership skills
  • Strong client management and communication abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related discipline
