Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Hydraulic Engineer with 2-5 years of experience. In this role, you will work on a range of exciting projects where you will be responsible for designing and implementing hydraulic systems that meet both client specifications and regulatory requirements, ensuring high-quality and sustainable outcomes.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Documentation: Develop and prepare detailed hydraulic designs and documentation, including calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client requirements.
  • Project Management: Assist in the management of hydraulic engineering projects from concept to completion, including coordinating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to clients, architects, and other members of the project team, addressing any hydraulic-related issues or queries.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure the installation and performance of hydraulic systems meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Innovation and Sustainability: Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable hydraulic solutions, keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs and systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including OH&S requirements.
  
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in hydraulic engineering within the building services sector.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic design software and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
