About the Role
You’ll oversee all aspects of the service department, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional results for clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of service technicians and apprentices
- Managing preventative maintenance programs, reactive breakdowns, and minor works
- Ensuring compliance with AFSS, AS1851, FPAS and relevant Australian standards
- Working closely with scheduling, project, and admin teams to ensure efficiency
- Building strong client relationships and maintaining high service standards
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and service delivery
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Trade qualification as a HVAC/Refrigeration Technician
- Proven leadership experience within a similar HVAC service management role
- Solid technical knowledge across HVAC and mechanical services
- Understanding of compliance frameworks and industry standards
- Experience using CMMS platforms (Uptick experience highly regarded)
- Strong communication, organisational, and team-building skills
