An established and highly respected Tier 2 commercial builder is seeking a Project Engineer to join the team delivering a $60m+ mixed-use development in West Perth. This landmark project includes residential, aged care, and commercial components, offering excellent exposure to a complex multi-stage build.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Engineer looking to step into a key delivery role on a technically challenging project with a well-resourced and experienced project team.

The Role - Project Engineer

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site delivery and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project engineering functions across structural and services packages
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme
• Driving construction methodology and sequencing across multiple building components
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Monitoring programme, cost, and quality outcomes
• Working closely with site management, consultants, and the client team
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality system

About You

• 3–7 years’ experience working for a commercial building head contractor
• Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects ($20m+)
• Strong technical understanding of structures and services coordination
• Excellent stakeholder and subcontractor management skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to delivery
