Job description

This organisation are a well established and highly organisation with an enviable reputation for being a leading Infrastructure contractor who specialise in the delivery of projects in the Rail, Road, Mixed Utility and the water sectors.

Their Australian head quarters are located in Sydney and they are continuing to secure project after project turning over in excess of $140M and have recently picked up several key projects in excess of $30M which puts them in a comfortable position for 2023/2024.
 
The Role 
 
You will be responsible for multiple projects reporting into the Director and will be joining a team of experienced Engineers who are highly respected throughout the organisation. You will have an established team working on site based projects which will consist of 6 x Project Manager, Project Engineers and Site Engineers.  
 
Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for the financial, safety, supervision of staff and sub-contractors as well as managing the client relationship
  • management and success of the NSW water division by ensuring high quality projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget
  • Reporting on commercial and contractual matters in a timely manner
  • An ability to  lead from the front and strong at mentoring your team.
  • Report directly into the Managing Director
 Skills and Experience
  • A bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent 
  • Extensive experience in Operations Management within Civil Engineering 
  • A sound knowledge of contractual requirements
  • Strong commercial acumen.
