A well known and respected Gold Coast builder is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finishes Foreman to join an established team on a prestigious $50 million apartment development located in the heart of Main Beach on the Gold Coast. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a landmark project that will redefine luxury living in this sought-after coastal location.

About the role – Finishes Foreman
As the Finishes Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering all aspects of the fit-out and finishes stage of the project. You will be responsible for a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring exceptional quality standards are met throughout the entire process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of sub-contractors and tradespeople involved in the fit-out and finishes stage of the project
• Oversee the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, schedules, and budgets
• Maintain strict quality control standards and identify any potential issues promptly
• Effectively liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders
• Ensure a safe and productive work environment for your team
• Prepare and maintain all relevant documentation associated with the finishes stage

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Finishes Foreman in the construction industry
• Previous experience with a recognised builder in the Tier 2 space
• Proven track record of working on high rise apartment projects
• Strong understanding of all aspects of interior fit-out and finishes, including carpentry, joinery, tiling, painting, and flooring
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in construction software and quality control procedures
