Location: Fremantle, WA
Salary: $140,000 – $200,000 package (dependent on experience)
A well-established international logistics and freight forwarding business based in Fremantle is seeking an experienced Customs Broker to join its high-performing compliance team. This is a key role for a technically strong broker who enjoys autonomy, client engagement, and working closely with operations in a fast-paced import/export environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for end-to-end customs brokerage services across sea and air freight, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely clearance of cargo for a diverse client base.

The Role
You will be responsible for end-to-end customs brokerage services across sea and air freight, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely clearance of cargo for a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end import and export customs clearance
- Tariff classification, valuation, and origin assessment
- Lodgement of entries via ICS
- Management of biosecurity (DAFF) requirements
- Advising clients on duty, GST, concessions, and compliance matters
- Responding to ABF and DAFF queries, audits, and post-entry amendments
- Working closely with internal freight forwarding, transport, and warehouse teams
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor to key clients
- Licensed Australian Customs Broker (ABF accredited)
- Strong experience in sea and air freight clearances
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Customs and Biosecurity legislation
- Confident in tariff classification and complex compliance matters
- Commercially minded with strong client communication skills
- Able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
