The Company: 
Our client a Global Tier 1 contractor have quickly made a name for themselves delivering first class major infrastructure projects for the Rail, Tunneling, Utility and the Water Sectors. 
This project is for the Western Harbour Tunnel, and the role will be based in the North Sydney office. This is a $4bill project and needing someone to start in the role ASAP. 

The Role:
Permanent Full time Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join the Operational Services Team. This is a mid-level role and requires someone who has worked on similarly large infrastructure projects prior.
$120k - $140k based on experience. 

Tasks:
  • Manage day-to-day requirements of our new Community Information Centre, including being a point of contact for the community and ensuring the availability, relevance, and currency of information available to project stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improved stakeholder experiences and outcomes.
  • Provide support to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships in support of project design and delivery.
  • Assist the delivery of stakeholder engagement including providing administrative support for meetings and briefings.
  • Assist in preparation of speeches, video production, media releases, brochures, newsletters, and other collateral as required.
  • Prepare reports and summaries related to communications and stakeholder engagement activities, including compliance and evaluation.
About you:
  • Over 3-5 years' experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, consultation, public relations or media.
  • Related degree or certificate in communications, community engagement, consultation, public relations or media, particularly within a government or services environment.
  • Experience working with technical concepts and/or construction teams on large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

  • Sound project management skills and ability to self-motivate for individual tasks.
  • Team player who actively contributes to group activities and a positive project culture.
