Job Opportunity: Town Assessment Planners (NSW State Government Agency)

We are seeking Town Assessment Planners for an exciting 5-month temporary contract with a leading NSW State Government agency. This role offers an ASAP start, and is based in the Parramatta office, with the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

What we offer:

• Hourly rate: $63.72
• Location: Parramatta office with hybrid working (work from home and in-office)
• Contract: 5 months temporary with possible extension
• Start date: Immediate

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and planning for town and urban development projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet NSW planning regulations and community needs.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and assist with compliance documentation.
• Provide professional advice on planning policies and urban development.

Skills and experience required:

• Relevant qualifications in urban planning, town planning, or a related field.
• Experience in town assessment or urban planning within government or private sectors.
• Knowledge of NSW planning regulations and processes.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
