Job description

The NSW Government is investing $8.6 billion over the next 4 years, continuing its program to deliver 160 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW.

Our client is currently looking to engage an Urban Designer experienced in Master Planning, for initial 12 month contracts.

Overview of the Project:
Universal Pre-Kindergarten is the centrepiece of the Department of Education’s Early Years Commitment is the NSW Government’s investment of $5.8 billion to introduce a new universal pre-Kindergarten year in the year before primary school, for every child by the end of the decade. To achieve this Statutory Planning support is needed to investigate and deliver the appropriate infrastructure/asset response across the state. We will run pilots in selected locations to help us understand the best ways to introduce universal pre-Kindergarten by the end of the decade, in 2030. The creation of this team is an important step forward to realise this and support the existing planning team with work across the state. With the creation of a new team for a new program of work, the opportunity also includes process refinement and improvement.
