CGC Recruitment are working with a National Tier 1 Contractor who are involved n one of the most exciting Bridge Construction project of the last 20 years. They have identified a critical need for an experienced Supervisor to join the team on a full time basis. 
 
The role will work alongside the project Superintendent and will involve overseeing all construction works managing both direct hire and a number of specialist subcontractors. You will lead crews to complete all site establishment from piling works, major concrete structures and services.Your main responsibility will include:
 

• Responsible for safety toolboxes meetings
• Responsible Daily Pre-start meetings  
• Responsible for WHS 
• Complete Foreman’s Daily Work Diary
• Work directly with the superintendent and project managers around design issues and project progress 

The position requires a seasoned Supervisor who can hit the ground running, motivate crews and lead construction activities in a brownfield environment.  
 
Selection Criteria: 
 
- Minimum 10 years Construction experience 
- Must possess heavy concrete structures experience
- Experience coordinating crane climbs, permit and approvals 
- Strong Leadership skills 
- Excellent communications skills
- Able to read and understand designs and drawings
