Demolition Supervisor - Senior Leadership Opportunity
Location: Outer Suburbs, Brisbane QLD
 
A growing mid-tier civil contractor, recognised as a market leader in complex civil and detailed earthworks across South East Queensland, is seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join its Senior Leadership Team.
With an expanding portfolio of technically challenging projects in dense urban environments, the business has recently established a dedicated Demolition & Remediation division. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role and become the face of this emerging arm of the company.

About the Role
This position offers a dynamic split between office and site, with approximately 30% office-based responsibilities and the remainder spent across multiple project sites.
You will be responsible for:

• Leading and delivering demolition projects from planning through to completion
• Supervising crews on-site and ensuring safe, efficient execution of works
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating project activities
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working closely with the Construction Manager and broader leadership team
• Supporting the growth and strategic direction of the demolition division

You will initially lead a small, capable team, with the opportunity to scale operations as the division grows.

About You
 
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who is ready to take the next step in their career:

• 15+ years' demolition experience across a range of project types
• Current demolition and asbestos removal tickets/licenses
• Strong leadership and site management capability
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to build client relationships
• Previous business development exposure will be highly regarded
• Ambition and foresight to progress into an Operations Manager role
