We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor for one of Perth's leading earthworks and civils contractors. The business is privately owned with a strong reputation gained over 40 years of delivering civil construction projects in the Perth metro area. Our client is keen to speak to candidates with a proven track record delivering large scale subdivision projects to lead a project located North of the River in Yanchep.

The Role 

• Lead and supervise / coordinate site personnel, plant, materials and subcontractors daily. 
• Attend site meetings and send weekly progress reports to Management.   
• Assist with materials procurement and quality documentation.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers in line with site programs. 
• Maintain site records and responsible for onsite OH&S documentation including toolbox meetings. 
• Manage projects and ensure programs, productions and budgets are met. 

Skills Required

• Strong planning and organisational skills is essential, including recording site progress. 
• Experience in Subdivisional works and both Bulk Earthworks and Undergrounds. 
• Ability to read and understand drawings and construction programs.
• Solid safety focus and experience. 
• Ability to work flexible hours and willing to operate plant and equipment if required. 
• Strong communication skills with site personnel and subcontractors.
• Valid driver’s license. 
• Having Current Senior First Aid is desirable.
