Job Title: Contract Administrator (Contract) – Fit Out Project

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a reputable main contractor builder delivering a fast-paced fit-out project in Sydney. This is an initial 8-week contract with strong potential to extend depending on project requirements.
This role is ideal for a CA who can hit the ground running, support the project team, and manage contract administration processes efficiently within a live construction environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final accounts
• Prepare, review and issue subcontract agreements and scopes
• Assess subcontractor progress claims and variations
• Assist with head contract administration and reporting
• Track project costs and support commercial controls
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records
• Assist with monthly reporting and forecasting

About You

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator with a main contractor
• Experience delivering commercial or workplace fit-out projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Ability to manage subcontractor variations and progress claims
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment

Highly Regarded

• Experience using Cheops project management system
• Ability to start immediately or on short notice
