Job description

CGC are seeking a Submissions Coordinator to run a fast-paced team within a small corporate architectural practice, based close to Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and architects to gather project information and materials for submissions.
  • Prepare and organize comprehensive project proposals, permit applications, and bid packages.
  • Ensure all submissions meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Maintain an organized record of all project submissions, deadlines, and status updates.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and agencies to ensure the timely processing of permits.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, consultants, and team members to obtain necessary information for submissions.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of submission templates and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and permitting processes to ensure compliance.
  • Provide administrative support to the project teams as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a submissions or project coordination role within the architecture industry.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural and permitting regulations and processes.
  • Previous experience in liaising with councils and builders would be highly desirable. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience within Architecture Industry 
  • Must have full Australian Working Rights
  • This role is to start in January 2024
