Job Title: Project Manager – 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record delivering refurbishment projects in the commercial and/or education sectors.
You will play a key role during the design phase, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to drive projects through to delivery. Strong stakeholder management and design coordination skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate refurbishment projects from design through to construction
• Lead and influence the design development process with architects and consultants
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk plans
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Drive project progress to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management roles
• Demonstrated experience in refurbishment projects (commercial and/or education essential)
• Strong understanding of the design phase and early-stage project planning
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
• Tertiary qualification in Construction, Project Management, Architecture or related field preferred
