Opportunity
 
Tier 2 Melbourne builder requires a contract site manager for a high-end fit out and refurb project in Collins St, CBD.

Working as the No.1 site manager on a 3-month guaranteed contract role you, will be tasked with running a $1.1m warm shell, multi-level spec suite and refurb project.
  
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or related field
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Trade background (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing) highly desirable
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the fit out project, ensuring it is executed within budget, timeline, and to the client's specifications
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor progress and quality of work on-site, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Manage and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
