Job description

My client is looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to work on the Burrup Seawater Supply Scheme upgrade / Water Corp. The contract will have an estimated duration of 2 months.

The Role

Support operations to execute client HSE initiatives.
Effective implementation of HSE policy, procedures & standards through training, coaching and regular communication.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist with solution development and implementation.
Coach and support the Project Team and Contracting Partners to develop and review HSE management plans and risk registers, consistent with site/project needs.
Coach Project Team and Contracting Partners management requirements including review of SWMS, completion of site inductions, participation in pre-starts, conduct of daily plant check sheets and compliance with HSEMPs.
Collaborate with management and staff to promote a positive health and safety culture.

Skills & Qualifications

5 + years of HSE advisory experience
Proven experience in a similar role within the Tier 1 construction industry, preferably with experience dealing with WA resource clients.
Water Corp Exposure
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant Australian HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
Cert IV OH&S
Worked on major projects of a similar size and scale.
