Job description
CGC Recruitment are in partnership with a family-owned civil contracting business with an established trading history. The business specialises in delivering land development projects throughout the Metropolitan area with multiple projects ranging from Two Rocks in the North and to Mandurah in the South in an area of civil construction which is currently booming.
Our client is keen to speak to Civil Supervisors / Site Managers with experience leading teams on large subdivision projects with a working knowledge of earthworks, road construction, underground services, sewers and drainage. Working closely with the Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, directing and supporting your team onsite ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties:

Working closely with the Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, directing and supporting your team onsite ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Supervising multiple projects simultaneously.
- Managing construction crews of labourers, drainers, road builders, utility contractors, machine operators including selection and coordination of sub-contractors.
- Organising materials & machinery and ensuring workforce, machinery & materials are in the right place, at the right time, meeting projects’ requirements.
- Allocate team member tasks and monitor work to ensure quality standards are always maintained.
- Proactively manage site operations to ensure compliance to all practices, policies, procedures and in accordance with statutory and local Shire regulations.
- Lead pre-start meetings and oversee machinery pre-start checks.
- At least 3 years’ experience working as a Civil Supervisor on subdivision / land development projects.
- Strong working knowledge of earthworks, drainage, underground services, pavement and road construction.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- High regard and compliance to all HSE policies and procedures.
- Are comfortable with technology and able to use standard programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word.
- Construction White Card.
- Drivers Licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

- $130,000 – $160,000 base salary (dependent on experience).
