Civil & Infrastructure Projects | Metro Perth & FIFO Opportunities
 
A leading Australian civil engineering contractor is seeking Engineering Surveyors and Senior Engineering Surveyors to support a strong pipeline of metro infrastructure and FIFO resources-sector projects across Western Australia. These are long-term career opportunities with a contractor delivering major works for government and tier-one clients.
 
This role suits survey professionals with hands-on experience working for Australian civil contractors who are flexible and open to both Perth metro and site-based FIFO project assignments, depending on project demand.

You'll contribute to a diverse portfolio including:
Metro Perth projects

• Major Roads WA (MRWA) civil infrastructure works
• Defence infrastructure packages
• Land development subdivisions

FIFO projects

• Civil works across mining and resources sector infrastructure
• 2:2 roster (15% site uplift)
• 2:1 roster (30% site uplift)

Metro-based roles include fully maintained company ute.
Key Responsibilities ��️

• Deliver construction set-out and as-constructed surveys
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Support project teams with accurate spatial data
• Maintain QA compliance and survey documentation
• Manage survey control networks
• Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Mentor junior survey staff (Senior-level roles)

To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Essential

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma preferred
• Proven experience with Australian civil engineering contractors
• Strong capability using:
  • Total Stations
  • GPS/GNSS receivers
  • AutoCAD / Civil 3D (or equivalent processing software)
• Experience across civil infrastructure environments
• Valid Australian working rights

Desirable

• Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)
• Aviation Radio Operators Certificate (AROC)

Salary & Benefits �� Engineering Surveyor

• $130,000 - $140,000 base + super

Senior Engineering Surveyor

• $145,000 - $155,000 base + super
