Sydney-based | Structural & Concrete Works | Rebar-Focused Role
 
Our client is a well-established residential builder delivering high rise resi projects across Sydney.
This current project includes complex in-situ concrete structures, podiums, basements, and multi-storey builds with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and programme certainty.
 
This is a hands-on site-based role suited to an engineer who enjoys being close to the build and heading up rebar and formwork procurement. 
 
The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for site engineering duties with a strong focus on rebar call-offs, and coordination of concrete works. You will play a critical role in ensuring structures are built accurately, efficiently, and in line with programme. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage rebar call-offs in line with programme and drawings
• Coordinate reinforcement deliveries with suppliers and site teams
• Work closely with foremen and subcontractors on sequencing and buildability
• Review drawings and bar schedules
• Maintain site records, ITPs, and quality documentation
• Assist with short-term programming and lookaheads
• Ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, and to specification 

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
• 2+ years' experience as a Site Engineer on structural or concrete projects
• Strong experience with reinforcement, formwork, and concrete packages
• Confident with set-out, rebar scheduling, and on-site coordination
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Good communicator who works well with site teams and subcontractors
