CGC Recruitment have partnered with a long standing client nationally who are at the forefront of the infrastructure boom across Australia. This company are a leading Main Tier Contractor who have a currently pipeline of works on the Eastern Seaboard alone in excess of over $1bn. They operate in a range of different sectors but are renowned for their expertise in Road Construction projects with state Government Transport organisations such as TMR, RMS and Vic Roads. 

Due to project wins across the state they have identified the need for a Civil Site Engineer to work on a $300ml+ complex road construction project in the Sunshine Coast. This role will report into the Project Engineer on procurement of equipment, material & subcontracts, day to day tracking of cost vs productivity for self-performed works, developing method statements and risk assessments, Quality assurance: development of lot structure, ITP’s and compilation at completion.Scope of works includes bulk earthworks, removal of services, pavements, road resurfacing etc. We are actively looking to speak to Engineers who posses the following experience: 

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure construction projects for State authorities.
• Familiarity with WHS and Environmental legislation and ability to produce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for specific trades/activities.
• Thorough understanding of client specifications and ability to produce ITPs for specific trades.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
